Technical Sales Manager

Duties include:
• Promoting and selling the company’s water filtration products
• Review & evaluation of new sales enquiries
• Liaising with client / design engineers / contractors to ensure all necessary information is available to accurately assess the customer’s needs
• Provide technical support to our partners and distributor channels for product selection, sizing and assessment of tender information
• Preparation of technical proposals
• Travelling within the UK & Ireland to meet with existing & prospective clients, partners & distributors to give technical sales presentations & project specific sales meetings

Desirable Skills & Qualities

• Proven track record in the industry and the ability to demonstrate both a commercial and technical awareness
• High level of knowledge with filtration products or water treatment process
• Experience of working with large key accounts
• Familiar with a business model that includes direct sales as well as using channel partners, distributors & resellers.
• Able to work to strict deadlines
• Good people & presentation skills
• Able to take initiative
• Familiar with CRM systems (training will be provided)
• IT Skills, proficiency in Microsoft office (outlook, word & excel)
• Full UK Driving Licence

Dependent upon experience
The package will include a company car, pension package and all supporting tools such as laptop & mobile phone.
